The contractor is awaiting the completion of Canadian National Railway Company’s work before finishing the sidewalk leading up to the railroad tracks. This remaining work is anticipated to take place this winter, or possibly in early spring.

Parkway grading and topsoil placement were completed throughout the project, and hot mix asphalt driveways and patches were placed as planned. Pedestrian push buttons, pedestrian signals, and detection were activated at Edward Road, Camp McDonald Road, Old Willow Road, and Palatine Frontage Road.

AT&T began adjusting a manhole in the sidewalk north of Edward Road, while Nicor continued landscape restoration and roadway pavement patching adjacent to their work.
