This past week marked the start of the Wolf Road Sidewalk Project, with several key activities underway. Signage placement has started along the project area, enhancing visibility and safety for all. The contractor’s layout work has kicked off, laying the groundwork for the upcoming construction phases. We’ve also completed the maintenance transfers for the traffic signals, ensuring that our infrastructure remains operational. Additionally, we’re expecting the placement of message boards by Saturday, March 23rd, further improving communication and guidance for residents and commuters.
Looking ahead to next week, we have a busy schedule planned. The contractor is set to install inlet baskets and silt fences across the project area, a crucial step in managing stormwater and protecting local waterways. Saw cutting activities are also on the agenda, preparing for the removal of driveway aprons, sidewalks, and curb and gutter sections. This preparation is essential for the subsequent construction work. Additionally, tree and brush removal will begin, clearing the way for further project developments.
Residents should be aware of the neighborhood impacts during this time. Possible lane closures may occur, leading to delays in the area. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve the community’s infrastructure. Your cooperation and support are invaluable to us.
