Week in Review: Accomplishments and Progress
This past week, the contractor focused on placing silt fences around stockpiles throughout the project site to manage sediment control. Nicor Gas continued adjusting its utilities, allowing the contractor to proceed with the planned storm sewer installation. Some driveway aprons remain on hold in Nicor’s work zone.
Looking Ahead: Planned Activities
In the coming week, the contractor will place topsoil, seed, and blanket in completed areas and continue storm sewer installation along Wolf Road. Nicor Gas and ComEd will continue their respective utility adjustments, with ComEd supporting storm sewer work by bracing a utility pole at the north end of the project.
Residents along the project limits are kindly requested to maintain their parkways in areas not affected by active construction. For safety, please keep a respectful distance from any construction activities or disturbed ground.
