Week in Review: Accomplishments and Progress
This past week, the contractor continued placing storm sewer along Wolf Road and applied topsoil, seed, and blanket in completed areas. Nicor Gas was on-site adjusting utilities, while AT&T supported their cable and conducted potholing to avoid conflicts with the proposed storm sewer. A bus shelter at the southeast corner of Wolf Road and Piper Lane was temporarily removed due to storm sewer work and will be relocated once completed.
Looking Ahead: Planned Activities
Next week, the contractor will continue storm sewer placement, sidewalk, and curb & gutter work. Nicor Gas will also maintain utility adjustments to support progress.
Residents along the project limits are kindly requested to maintain their parkways in areas not affected by active construction. For safety, please keep a respectful distance from any construction activities or disturbed ground.
Community Impact: What to Expect
As construction continues, residents may experience possible lane closures, which could lead to temporary delays. Your patience and understanding are appreciated as work to improve the community’s infrastructure continues. Residents are encouraged to stay informed about the project’s progress and any anticipated changes in traffic patterns.
